HORADAM Gouache allows versatile combinations with watercolours, providing artists with creative freedom in various techniques. While painting with watercolours usually progresses from light to dark (with white paper representing the light), painting with gouache offers unlimited freedom in approach. In contrast to painting with watercolours with limitations on painting over lights, painting with gouache allows both highlights and lights to be added with colour afterwards.
