Bear in mind that to get the correct flow of paint through and around the nib the paint will need to be diluted (thinned), in some cases up to50%. For latex paint use water or Floetrol or a combination of the two. For acrylic use water or air brush paint medium. Oil based paints can be thinned with turpentine, mineral spirits, linseed oil, etc. If you are a painter, you know better than I what the proper procedure is to thin oil paints. Stains and inks generally work fine right out of the container. I sell specially engineered nibs for acrylic paint that fit these markers on eBay that drastically reduce the amount of thinner needed to get a good flow of paint on the work surface.
